Fix Computer Restart When Boot

Well, for the case that I met yesterday is to restart the computer immediately after boot or start up the computer so it does not get into the next process start up windows xp. Error message that appears more or less as follows:

"We apologize for inconvenience, but windows did not start succesfully. A recent hardware and software change might
have caused this...." and below it we were told to choose a boot in the following manner:
  • Safe Mode
  • Safe Mode with networking
  • Safe Mode with command prompt
  • Last known good configuration, dan
  • Start Windows Normally

By selecting Last known good configuration windows Usually are Able to start up normally, but if the damage is severe enough as there is damage to the master boot record, boot sector or file structure on the hard drive, the computer will restart. Steps we can do is try to fix the hard drive with windows xp recovery console, the following steps:
Set the BIOS so that the computer do the first boot via cd / dvd rom.
Insert the Windows XP setup CD, and let it start up running from CD
Appears After the display the "Welcome to Setup" as shown below, press "R" to access the windows xp recovery console

Type the number 1 and the administrator password windows (windows that are not in the password, wrote press enter) on the display as shown below:

To repair the damaged partition boot sector typing the command: fixboot C:

To repair the master boot sector (mbr) damaged type the command: fixmbr

To fix bad sectors, lost clusters, cross-linked files, and directory errors were damaged type the command: chkdsk c: / r as I have Discussed in this article how to fix the hard drive.
Furthermore, to get out of the recovery console type the command: exit
Usually after checking and repair the hard drive with the command chkdsk will return to normal boot process.

That is how I fix the computer continues to restart when booting using the windows xp recovery console. Usually the damage Caused by a power failure that resulted in damage to the hard drive. Good luck good luck .. :)
